Rani Sui lake is situated in Dhauladhar Mountain Range in higher reaches of Manali, District Kulllu, Himachal Pradesh. Rani Sui Lake is also called Saurkundi Lake located at an altitude of 3790 meters. It is believed as sacred lake of Maharishi Shandilya and people in the valley go here for pilgrimage bath especially on jyestha 20 and bhadon 20 to remove negitivity and many diseases. Surrounding areas are associated with scared and pure joginis. Remains of Pandvas stay are also found on the way while going to this amazing lake. One such is Bhim gharat/chakki. At the height of this lake one can get esmerizing views of many notable peaks of Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal Ranges including Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba, Indrasan etc. and panoramic view of the Kulllu valley. There are five to six routes from different villages including Shangchar, Shegli,Bran,Shalin, Kanyal,Nasogi to reach this lake. The track to the Bara Bhangal also goes through this track.
